Ahmedabad University awards full tuition fee waiver and financial support to doctoral students. The financial support could be either University Fellowship, University Assistantship or from sponsored projects. We offer University Assistantship at INR 40,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver and University Fellowship at INR 50,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver. Kashish Shah [2022] :Status: He has joined from July 1, 2022. Kashish D. Shah received his Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Ahmedabad University, in 2022. He is working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project financed by DST-GUJCOST entitled 'Design and Development of 5G Enabled Intelligent Transportation System in Gujarat’ at MICxN(Machine Intelligence, Computing and xG-Networks) Lab, SEAS, Ahmedabad University. Ridima Verma [2022] :Status: She has joined from January 1, 2022. Ridima Verma received her B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chitkara University and M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar University in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Brijesh Soni [2017-2021] :Status: Completed Dr Soni is going to join as postdoc researcher at Boston College, MA-USA. He was working as Junior Research Fellow at School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University for Department of Science and Technology (DST) - UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) research project jointly funded by DST and British Council. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from B.V.M Engineering college and M.E. degree in Communication Systems Engineering from L.D College of Engineering (both with Distinction) in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He has been awarded his Ph.D. degree in Information, Communication and Technology at School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University in 2021. Sagar Kavaiya [2017] :Status: Synopsis Defended Sagar Kavaiya was working as Junior Research Fellow at School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University for the DST-ASEAN funded project titled, “Cognitive Radio Enabled Vehicular Cyber Physical System for Urban Area. He received the B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from B.V.M Engineering College and M.E. degree in Communication Systems Engineering from L.D College of Engineering in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He is also currently pursuing his PhD degree in Information, Communication and Technology at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University.
